Simple Cookie Recipe For Kids

When I plan to spend time with kids, it’s sometimes not easy to organize something interesting and exciting for them. However, I noticed baking is one of the things that makes them really happy and keeps them focused. Baking doesn’t have to be complicated. It can be simple and fun at the same time.

Here is an easy, cheap and delicious biscuit recipe with just a few ingredients. All you need is flour, eggs, sugar, vanilla-flavored sugar, and butter. You can add chocolate chips, cinnamon, sea salt, nuts, seeds, and other ingredients if you want.

Step 1 - Mix 1 egg, 120g of sugar, and 1 bag of vanilla-flavored sugar with a wooden spoon until the mixture becomes whitish.

Step 2 - Add 260g of flour and mix the ingredients with your hands (kids love this part !)

Step 3 - Add 100g of butter and knead the mixture. If the dough is too soft and too greasy, you can add flour.

Step 4 - Preheat the oven to 180°C

Step 5 - Then you can let the dough sit in the fridge 15 minutes or you can directly take pieces of the dough, shape them the way you want, and place them on a plate (kids love this part too !).

Step 6 - Put them in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes (depending on the thickness of the dough pieces).

AND VOILÀ ! BON APPÉTIT !
